Cox's Bazar Airport Declared as International Airport

The government of Bangladesh has officially declared Cox's Bazar Airport as an international airport under the authority of the Civil Aviation Rules.

The Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism issued a notification in this regard yesterday (12 October), stating that the airport will now operate with international status, enabling it to handle international flights and passengers.

Officials from various ministries, the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB), and other relevant departments have been informed to take necessary measures for its implementation.
