UK Medical Team to Arrive Wednesday as Khaleda Zia’s Condition Remains Critical

A new team of specialist doctors from China is set to arrive in Dhaka tonight (Tuesday) to provide medical care for BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia. A medical team from the United Kingdom is scheduled to reach Dhaka tomorrow (Wednesday).

The information was confirmed by BNP party sources on Tuesday evening.

Earlier, on Monday, another group of foreign doctors arrived in Dhaka and later visited Khaleda Zia at the hospital.

Khaleda Zia’s physical condition remains critical and unchanged, though she is still able to receive treatment, according to the party.

The BNP chief was taken to Evercare Hospital from her Gulshan residence, Firoza, on the night of November 23 for a health check-up. Following the advice of the medical board, she was admitted to the hospital, where her condition gradually deteriorated.

Khaleda Zia has long been suffering from multiple health complications, including arthritis, diabetes, kidney issues, lung problems, and eye-related ailments.
