Deputy Commissioners (DC) of several districts have confirmed the sighting of the much-anticipated crescent moon. After the Maghrib prayers, Religious Affairs Adviser Dr AFM Khalid Hossen confirmed the matter in an Islamic Foundation briefing.
Muslims in Bangladesh will begin offering Tarabi prayers on Saturday night. Office hours during the holy month will be from 9am to 3:30pm.
