In a significant diplomatic engagement, BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman held a virtual conference with the Trump administration’s trade delegation on Friday morning. Joining the session from his Gulshan residence at 9:00 AM, the BNP leader engaged in a comprehensive dialogue led by US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer.
The meeting’s focus was on enhancing the economic synergy between Bangladesh and the United States. According to Saleh Shibly, Press Secretary to the BNP Chairman, the discussion covered critical areas such as bilateral trade policies, tariff structures, and future financial collaboration.
The virtual summit also featured Brendan Lynch, Assistant US Trade Representative for South and Central Asia, and Director Emily Ashby. Humayun Kabir, BNP Joint Secretary General and member of the party’s international affairs wing, assisted the Chairman during this high-level exchange.
