Six MPs Appointed as Whips in the 13th National Parliament

Six Members of Parliament (MPs) of the 13th National Parliament have been appointed as Whips.

The information was announced on Monday through a gazette notification signed by Kazi Mowla, Secretary of the Bangladesh Jatiya Sangsad Secretariat, issued by order of the President.

According to the notification, under Article 3(1) of The Bangladesh (Whips) Order, 1972 (P.O. 64 of 1972), the Honorable President has appointed the following Members of Parliament as Whips of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad:

1. Alhaj G.K. Gaus, MP from Habiganj-3

2. Alhaj Rokibul Islam Bokul, MP from Khulna-3

3. Mia Nuruddin Ahmed Apu, MP from Shariatpur-3

4. Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu, MP from Natore-2

5. Md. Akhtaruzzaman Mia, MP from Dinajpur-4

6. A.B.M. Ashraf Uddin (Nijan), MP from Lakshmipur-4

The appointments have been made in accordance with the relevant constitutional provisions governing parliamentary whips.
