Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, the Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, has declared that the 11-party alliance is prepared to make any sacrifice to uphold the spirit of the July Revolution. Speaking at an Iftar program organized by Khelafat Majlish in Bijoynagar on Friday (March 6), he emphasized that no one would be allowed to evade justice for their crimes.
Referring to the controversial actions of two former advisors, the Jamaat chief stated firmly, "We will give our lives if necessary, but we will not let the victory of July be defeated." He reiterated that accountability remains a priority and no offender will be spared under the current political landscape.
At the same event, Sarjis Alam, the chief organizer of the NCP, remarked that no political force, including the BNP, can remain in power for the next five years by betraying the trust of the people. Adding to the sentiment, NCP Member Secretary Akter Hossain warned that the 11-party alliance would resist any government action that contradicts the core values of the July uprising. The gathering served as a strong display of unity among the allied parties, reaffirming their commitment to the revolutionary ideals that reshaped the nation's trajectory.
