NCP Bolsters Ranks with Prominent Faces of July Uprising; Eyes Major Political Shift

The National Citizen’s Party (NCP) is making significant strides in consolidating political power by integrating key figures from the anti-fascist July mass uprising.

Aiming to materialize the aspirations of the revolution, a group of prominent youth leaders, former coordinators, and activists are set to officially join the party. Reports suggest that substantial progress has been made in discussions with segments of Up Bangladesh, AB Party, and academic professionals. Notably, the children of several influential established political leaders are also in advanced talks to join this emerging platform.

NCP leadership emphasizes that this unification is crucial to upholding the spirit of the July movement and ensuring sustainable state reforms. By expanding its organizational base, the party seeks to emerge as a formidable alternative in the national political landscape. Upcoming party conventions are expected to announce new committee structures and an advisory council featuring civil society representatives.
