The 11-party alliance has announced a second phase of nationwide programs demanding the immediate implementation of the referendum results. Following a strategic meeting at Al-Falah Auditorium in Moghbazar on Thursday (April 16), Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Mia Golam Porwar detailed the upcoming protest schedule, which will run from April 18 to May 2.

The announced programs include a mass procession in the capital, Dhaka, on April 18, followed by similar rallies in all divisional cities on April 25 and in every district town on May 2. Additionally, seminars will be organized across the country during this period. Addressing the media, Golam Porwar criticized the government for ignoring the public's mandate and adopting "fascist tactics" to suppress dissent.

He also highlighted the government's failure to manage the fuel crisis and the measles outbreak, warning that any unconstitutional attempt to quell the movement would lead to a dire political downfall for the current administration.
