Tarique Rahman has sent goodwill gifts for Hajj pilgrims, which have already reached the Dhaka Hajj Office.
According to a report by Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), Hajj Office Director Md. Lokman Hossain said that several items have been distributed on behalf of the Prime Minister for the “guests of Allah.” Among these are 100,000 bottles of mineral water, which are being provided to pilgrims arriving at the camps.
In addition, pilgrims on the inaugural Hajj flight will receive gift packages containing backpacks, ihram soap, water pots, petroleum jelly, miswak, and Ajwa dates. These items will be distributed in packaged form to passengers of the first flight.
Notably, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is scheduled to inaugurate the Hajj flights tonight (Friday) at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
This year, a total of 78,500 pilgrims from Bangladesh will perform the holy Hajj.
