Journalist Md Saidur Rahman Appointed Minister (Press) at Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi

Journalist Md Saidur Rahman has been appointed Minister (Press) at the Press Wing of the Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi, India.

The Ministry of Public Administration announced the appointment in a notification issued by its Contract and Foreign Appointment Branch on Sunday.

According to the notification, Md Saidur Rahman has been appointed on a contractual basis as Minister (Press) at the Press Wing of the Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi for a period of one year from the date of joining.

The appointment is subject to the condition that he relinquish any other profession, business or employment with any government, semi-government or private institution or organisation.

The notification also said that the other terms and conditions of the appointment would be determined through the contract agreement.
