In a post on Truth Social, Trump expressed his backing for the "National Committee for the Administration of Gaza," noting that it will operate under the supervision of a newly formed international entity called the "Board of Peace." Trump is expected to serve as the chairman of this oversight board.

Brokered by mediators from Egypt, Qatar, and Türkiye, the committee aims to restore basic services and oversee reconstruction in the war-torn enclave. President Trump emphasized that this transition marks a shift toward demilitarization and stability, urging Hamas to comply with disarmament requirements. He described the "Board of Peace" as a historic initiative designed to ensure a peaceful future for the people of Gaza.
