The All India Muslim Personal Law Board has strongly condemned the alleged killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in a U.S.-Israeli airstrike.
According to an Indian media outlet on Tuesday, the Board’s secretary, Umrain Mahfuz Rahmani, described the attack as “completely unacceptable” and a serious threat to global peace. He said the incident has raised grave concerns about international stability.
Speaking to journalists, Rahmani criticized what he described as aggressive actions by the United States and Israel. “The manner in which the United States and Israel are showing aggression, and Israel’s continued attacks in Gaza and Palestine, pose a threat to world peace,” he said. “Such actions deserve open condemnation. The world seeks peace, not war. True peace comes only when people respect boundaries. The arbitrary steps taken by the United States and Israel and their attack on Iran are entirely unacceptable.”
Rahmani further stated that Iran had not bowed down and that a prominent leader had been martyred. He described the development as a tragic loss for Islam, saying the leader had sacrificed himself with pride and sent a message of never bowing before oppression.
He added that the sacrifice had not only impacted the Shia community but had shocked people around the world, with many condemning the actions of Israel and the United States.
Rahmani also remarked, “The conflict between truth and injustice has always continued. Now, we must see how we can protect our people and safeguard our country. There is no doubt that whenever people get the opportunity, they will attempt to cause harm.”
The claims regarding the airstrike and the reported death have not been independently verified.
