A Bangladeshi national and an Indian citizen were killed in a missile attack in Saudi Arabia. At least 12 others were injured in the incident.

According to a report by Al Jazeera on Sunday, the attack targeted a residential building inside a compound in the Al-Kharj Governorate of Saudi Arabia.

The country’s civil defense agency confirmed the casualties in a post on the social media platform X (Twitter), though it did not provide detailed information about the victims or the circumstances of the attack.

Earlier, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran claimed that it had carried out strikes targeting radar systems at several locations in Saudi Arabia, including Al-Kharj. The two deaths reported are believed to be linked to that attack.

Meanwhile, last Tuesday the U.S. Embassy in Saudi Arabia and the U.S. Consulate in the United Arab Emirates were also targeted in drone attacks, raising concerns over escalating regional tensions in the Gulf.
