Rumors circulating on social media claiming that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been killed or injured have not been confirmed by any reliable sources.
Iran’s Tasnim News Agency reported that Netanyahu might have been wounded or killed following recent Iranian attacks. However, the outlet did not provide any credible evidence or official confirmation to support the claim.
According to the report, the speculation has emerged for several reasons. These include the absence of recently released videos of Netanyahu, increased security measures around his residence, and the postponement of certain diplomatic visits.
Tasnim News Agency is widely considered to be closely affiliated with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The United States Treasury Department has also listed the outlet as being linked to the IRGC.
In contrast, Israeli media outlet The Jerusalem Post reported that there is currently no credible information supporting the claim that Netanyahu has been killed or injured. The publication noted that during wartime, top leaders often limit their public appearances for security reasons.
Government sources also indicated that an official statement was released from Netanyahu’s office on March 7. Additionally, reports said he was seen visiting an area in Beersheba on March 6.
Overall, there is still no reliable confirmation that Netanyahu has been killed or injured.
