A high-stakes intelligence report by the Financial Times has revealed that Iran utilized a clandestine Chinese spy satellite to coordinate attacks on military installations across the Middle East.

Acquired secretly in late 2024, the TEE-01B satellite, manufactured by Earth Eye Co., was reportedly integrated into the operations of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). This strategic asset allowed Tehran to conduct precise surveillance and acquire high-resolution imagery of critical bases before launching missile and drone strikes.

The surveillance specifically targeted key assets, including the Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia and naval facilities in Bahrain and Jordan. While Chinese officials have dismissed these claims as speculative, the leaked documents indicate a deep technical partnership between the IRGC and Beijing-based satellite firms. President Donald Trump has already issued a stern warning, noting that any party providing advanced defense support to Iran would face severe consequences.
