NEWS DESKThe Saudi Aid Platform has announced that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has provided a total of SR528.4 billion (approximately $140.9 billion) in financial assistance to countries around the world, underscoring its status as one of the leading global donors.
According to the official data, Egypt emerged as the top recipient, receiving $32.49 billion in aid, followed by Yemen with $27.69 billion, and Pakistan with $13.19 billion. Other major beneficiaries include Syria ($7.53 billion), Iraq ($7.33 billion), and Palestine ($5.37 billion).
This extensive support reflects Saudi Arabia’s firm commitment to humanitarian and development efforts, aimed at alleviating suffering, responding to natural disasters and humanitarian crises, and promoting sustainable development in line with international goals.
These contributions are in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030, which emphasizes strengthening global partnerships and reinforcing the Kingdom’s role as a cornerstone of regional and international peace and stability. The initiatives are being pursued under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.
Launched in 2018 by King Salman and restructured by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), the Saudi Aid Platform serves as a comprehensive and precise electronic reference for all foreign assistance provided by the Kingdom. It categorizes Saudi aid into humanitarian, development, and philanthropic projects; contributions to international organizations; and services provided to refugees residing within Saudi Arabia.
Given the presence of multiple donor entities in the Kingdom, the platform plays a crucial role in coordinating and documenting all aid-related activities, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and effectiveness in delivering assistance to those in need across the globe.
