Trump Claims U.S. Forces Destroyed 42 Iranian Naval Vessels in Recent Conflict

U.S. President Donald Trump has claimed that American forces destroyed 42 Iranian naval vessels during the recent conflict with Iran.

Speaking at an event in Florida on Saturday, Trump said the U.S. strikes had significantly weakened Iran’s military capabilities.

According to Trump, the attacks caused extensive damage to Iran’s navy, air force, and telecommunications systems. He claimed that a large portion of Iran’s air force capability and communications infrastructure had been destroyed.

Trump also stated that the initial U.S. strikes targeted facilities connected to Iran’s nuclear program. He alleged that before the attacks, Tehran had been close to acquiring nuclear weapons capability.

The U.S. president further claimed that American forces have achieved “extraordinary success” against Iran in the ongoing conflict.
