The United States has officially announced the cessation of free military aid to Ukraine. Speaking at an event in Georgia, Vice President JD Vance stated that the practice of supplying Kyiv with weapons funded by U.S. taxpayers has come to an end.

Vance clarified that while European nations are free to purchase and provide arms to Kyiv using their own resources, the current administration will no longer utilize domestic tax revenue for this purpose.

On the battlefield, hostilities have escalated significantly, with over 200 direct clashes reported in the last 24 hours. Russian forces launched extensive drone and missile strikes across several regions, including Odesa and Zaporizhzhia. Meanwhile, during a high-profile visit to China, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov accused Washington of attempting to forge a new military alliance focused on Kyiv. Lavrov suggested that the U.S. is shifting the burden of countering Russia onto Europe to free up its own strategic assets for the Indo-Pacific region.
