Donald Trump has once again lashed out at major U.S. media outlets for criticizing his administration’s policies on Iran.
In a post on Truth Social Friday, Trump accused mainstream media organizations of deliberately portraying his actions in a negative light. “The failing The New York Times, fake news CNN, and others don’t know what to do now,” he wrote.
Trump claimed that these outlets are “desperately” searching for reasons to criticize his Iran policy but have been unable to find any. He also suggested that media organizations should acknowledge his performance, saying they could begin to regain credibility by stating, “Mr. President, you have done a great job.”
The remarks come amid ongoing tensions and peace discussions between the United States and Iran, during which media outlets have been closely scrutinizing the administration’s actions. Trump, however, argues that instead of recognizing his successes, the media is focused solely on finding faults.
