Pakistan is actively positioning itself as a mediator to facilitate talks between Iran and the United States in an effort to promote peace in the Middle East.
Following the first round of discussions on April 11, both sides left without reaching an agreement. The two countries are now preparing for a second round of negotiations.
In the meantime, Donald Trump has confirmed that a U.S. delegation is being sent to Pakistan. However, it remains uncertain whether an Iranian delegation will travel to participate in the talks.
Amid preparations for the discussions, at least six U.S. aircraft have landed in Pakistan over the past 48 hours.
According to flight tracking data, these aircraft carried communication equipment, motorcade support, and other logistical supplies. They landed at Nur Khan Airbase before departing. At least two of the planes arrived on Monday, while the remaining four landed within the previous 48-hour period.
