In a message marking the occasion, the Prime Minister said Laylatul Qadr is a glorious and blessed night. He noted that the Holy Quran was revealed on this sacred night during the month of Ramadan. Almighty Allah has declared this night to be better than a thousand months.
He said the night carries a message of mercy, forgiveness, and blessings for humanity.
The Prime Minister added that Laylatul Qadr offers a unique opportunity to attain closeness to Allah through prayers, repentance, and supplication. He said the month of Ramadan is a time for self-restraint, spiritual purification, patience, and the awakening of humanitarian values.
He further said the teachings of Laylatul Qadr inspire people to establish peace, justice, and welfare in personal, social, and national life.
Tarique Rahman urged everyone to understand the significance of the night, engage more in prayers and worship, and dedicate themselves to the welfare of humanity.
In his message, the Prime Minister prayed to Almighty Allah to shower the infinite mercy and blessings of Laylatul Qadr upon everyone and guide the nation toward progress, peace, harmony, and prosperity.
