PM Tarique Rahman Drives Himself to Event

According to Zahidul Islam Rony, deputy press secretary to the prime minister, the incident took place on Wednesday evening around 7:30 PM, when the premier left his office and headed toward Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in Agargaon.

In the car, Prime Minister Rahman was accompanied by his wife, Zubaida Rahman, who was seated beside him.

A video circulating on social media shows the prime minister’s car stuck in traffic near the SAARC Fountain signal in Karwan Bazar. During the brief stop, he was seen waving to people nearby before continuing his journey once the signal cleared.

He later proceeded toward the conference venue to attend a program organized by the Bangladesh Administrative Service Association.
