Second Day of US-Mediated Ukraine–Russia Talks Begins in UAE

The second day of talks aimed at ending Moscow’s nearly four-year-long aggression in Ukraine has begun in the United Arab Emirates, under the mediation of the United States.

Negotiators from Ukraine and Russia joined the second round of discussions on Thursday, Kyiv said.

Ukraine’s chief negotiator Rustem Umerov said, “The second day of talks has begun in Abu Dhabi. We are working in the same format as yesterday—namely trilateral consultations, team-level work, and subsequent coordination of positions.”
