Iran’s Parliament Speaker Criticizes US Military Presence in Gulf Region

Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has once again criticized the presence of United States military forces in Gulf countries.

In a post on the social media platform X, Ghalibaf said the ongoing war has clearly demonstrated one thing: US military bases in the region do not protect anyone.

“Instead, they themselves are a threat,” he wrote.

He further accused the United States of being willing to sacrifice everyone for Israel, claiming that Washington prioritizes Israel above all other countries.

Ghalibaf also stated that any country relying on the United States for protection is effectively left completely “exposed.”

His remarks come amid rising tensions and continued conflict in the Middle East.
