U.S. President Donald Trump has made significant remarks regarding the situation in the Middle East following a temporary pause in the renewed conflict between Iran and Israel. Trump claimed that the United States would declare a “complete victory” over Iran within the next two weeks.

His comments came as Iran announced a suspension of its attacks while warning that any new aggression would be met with a strong response. Israel, meanwhile, has maintained its readiness to retaliate if necessary.

According to Anadolu Agency, Trump made the remarks during a tele-rally held in support of Republican ally Senator Lindsey Graham. He stated, “We have acted as a very strong team, and I believe we are ahead in this fight. But the real victory will come when we declare complete victory within the next two weeks.”

Trump added that the outcome would represent a “total victory” over Iran and predicted that oil prices would decline rapidly afterward.

Earlier on Monday, Iran announced that it was halting its attacks against Israel. However, Tehran warned that it would deliver a “devastating” response if Israel continued its military operations in Lebanon.

In a statement, Iran’s military said that Israel and its allies should have learned from Tehran’s previous responses.

Despite the ongoing ceasefire, regional tensions escalated after Israeli airstrikes targeted Lebanon’s capital, Beirut. In response, Iran launched missile attacks toward northern Israel. Israel subsequently carried out a series of airstrikes against various targets inside Iran.

Amid the heightened tensions, Trump took to his social media platform, Truth Social, on Monday and called on both Israel and Iran to end the conflict “immediately.”

Later that evening, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a televised address that the fighting with Iran had been suspended “for the moment.” However, he warned that Israel would respond if it came under attack again.
