The Michigan North Chapter of Muslim Ummah of North America - MUNA organized a workers’ gathering on June 7 at a local mosque in Sterling Heights.
The program was presided over by Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury and moderated by Dr. Raihanul Islam. The chief guest was Nesar Uddin, President of MUNA North Zone.
In his address, the chief guest urged members to develop themselves as ideal Muslims in accordance with Islamic teachings while actively fulfilling their responsibilities in Dawah work. He emphasized the importance of expanding MUNA’s outreach activities throughout all areas of the chapter and strengthening Qur’an distribution efforts aimed at sharing the message of the Holy Qur’an with non-Muslims.
Engineer Ariful Haque, Secretary of the local mosque, also delivered brief remarks during the gathering.
The event brought together chapter leaders, organizers, and members, who exchanged views on the organization’s ongoing activities and future plans. Discussions focused on enhancing community engagement and advancing the chapter’s religious and outreach initiatives.
The gathering concluded with a special prayer seeking progress in Islamic work and the welfare of the Muslim Ummah.
