The Warren South Chapter, under the North Zone of Muslim Ummah of North America - MUNA, organized an Eid reunion on June 7 at Islamic Center of Warren – Masjid Al-Fath.

The event was presided over by Abdul Ahad Chowdhury and moderated by Abul Kashem Fateh. Eid greetings were delivered by the chief guest, Nesar Uddin, President of MUNA North Zone.

In his remarks, the chief guest extended Eid greetings to all attendees and called upon community members to rise above social divisions and foster unity, harmony, and brotherhood. He also emphasized the importance of becoming actively involved in MUNA’s programs and initiatives, encouraging every family to become part of the MUNA family.

As part of the Eid reunion celebrations, a variety of recreational activities were organized for children in the mosque parking area. The event also featured a cultural performance by Renaissance Cultural Group of Michigan, which entertained participants with a lively presentation.

Attendees enjoyed a wide selection of traditional Eid delicacies, including homemade pitha, payesh, and other popular dishes. The reunion was held in a festive atmosphere and drew a large number of community members, providing an opportunity for social interaction, celebration, and strengthening community bonds.

The event reflected the spirit of Eid by bringing together families and community members in an atmosphere of joy, fellowship, and mutual goodwill.
