Science Fair and Small Bazaar Held by QAFYS BIC in Brooklyn

A vibrant Science Fair and Small Bazaar took place on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 715 Church Avenue, Brooklyn. The event was organized by the Al-Qur’an Academy for Young Scholars (QAFYS), Brooklyn Islamic Center (BIC) branch, and featured enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and parents.

Students from the QAFYS BIC branch showcased their scientific talents and entrepreneurial creativity through a variety of science projects and mini business stalls. The event highlighted student innovations ranging from eco-friendly models and tech-based solutions to real-life scientific applications.

The interactive nature of the fair provided a platform for young minds to express their ideas, experiment, and engage with both peers and adults. Visitors praised the students for their originality and effort.

The program concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where participants were awarded for their hard work and creativity. Organizers stated that such events help build student confidence and foster leadership and innovation for the future.
