NEWS DESKThe Communication, Media, Cultural, and Children’s Departments of the Muslim Ummah of North America-MUNA East Zone jointly organized the “MUNA East Zone President’s Award” program for children. This vibrant event took place on Sunday, July 31, at the MUNA Center in South Jersey.
The program was emceed by Akbar Uddin, Director of the Media and Cultural Department of MUNA East Zone. The event began with a welcome speech delivered by MUNA East Zone President, Mahmudul Kader Tafader.
Under the guidance of the Atlantic Cultural Group, children presented beautiful Nasheeds, Short Speeches, and Drama, showcasing various aspects of Islamic culture. Their enthusiastic participation brought life and energy to the event.
The chief guest of the program was MUNA National President Imam Delaware Hossain. In his keynote address, he emphasized the importance of upholding Islamic culture and urged both parents and children to steer clear of un-Islamic influences. He also encouraged parents to actively engage in their children's moral and religious upbringing.
Following his speech, Imam Delwar Hossain distributed crests, cash gift cards, and certificates among the participating children. He was joined on stage by special guest Nasir Uddin, National Assistant Secretary of Relief and Aid (NAHAR), and MUNA East Zone President Mahmudul Kader Tafadar.
The event concluded with a heartfelt dua (prayer) and closing remarks by MUNA East Zone Secretary Mohammad Humayun Kabir, who prayed for the continued success of the initiative.
