NEWS DESKMUNA Youth Connecticut and Massachusetts hosted the Grand Youth Iftar and Qiyamul Lail program on Saturday, March 8, at the newly constructed MUNA Connecticut Center. Organized with the noble purpose of spiritual development and gaining closeness to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala, this major Islamic youth event bringing together a large number of young attendees participated spontaneously.
This Grand Youth Iftar and Qiyamul Layl Program started after Asr prayers on Saturday local time. An important segment of the program was a series of inspiring speeches by distinguished guests.
Former MUNA National Youth Director, Brother Aqib Azad was present as the Chief Guest. In his talk, he emphasized the purity of the young generation's faith and the importance of increasing their relationship with Allah SWT. Assistant Youth Director of MUNA East Zone Brother Adil Abdullah also delivered a motivational speech as a Special Guest.
In addition, various Chapter Leaders of MUNA Youth disscussed inspirational speeches to the youth people on key islamic topics, encouraging them to strenthen their connection with thier faith and religious practice.
The program was moderated by Hasanul Rifat, President of Muna Youth Connecticut Chapter. A group of dedicated adult volunteers helped organize the festive community iftar and dinner. They arranged to entertain the invited youth in a very affectionate and sincere atmosphere.
Then everyone performed Taraweeh prayers and Qiyamul Layl with the Jamaat. Thus, the participating youth spent the whole night in the masjid with a wonderful spiritual and heavenly worship reflection.
As the night progressed, attendees woke up for Tahajjud prayers, followed by Suhoor, and concluded the event with Fajr prayer.
The participants were met with great excitement and appreciation by the program. They expressed their eagerness in attending more such programs in the future.
The success of this gathering reflects the strong commitment of MUNA Youth in fostering Islamic knowledge and brotherhood among young Muslims.
