U.S. President Donald Trump has claimed that the conflict with Iran has come to an end, stating that a new agreement has been reached under which Tehran has agreed not to possess nuclear weapons.

Speaking during a tele-rally in support of Senate candidate Barry Moore, Trump said the war with Iran was effectively over and emphasized the importance of renewed negotiations between the two countries.

“I don’t know if you heard, but we ended the war with Iran today,” Trump told supporters. “They have agreed not to have nuclear weapons, which was something we strongly insisted on.”

Trump later reiterated his remarks, describing the agreement as a major diplomatic achievement.

“Today we made a great deal with Iran,” he said. “There will be no nuclear weapons. People will start coming home very soon. It is almost completed. We got everything we wanted.”

The president did not immediately provide further details about the reported agreement or specify the terms under which Iran had allegedly accepted restrictions on its nuclear program.

The remarks come amid ongoing international attention on U.S.-Iran relations and efforts to address concerns over Iran’s nuclear activities. However, no official response from Iranian authorities was immediately available regarding Trump’s claims.

If confirmed, the agreement could mark a significant development in efforts to reduce tensions between the two countries and prevent further escalation in the region.
