MUNA Expresses Deep Condolences over Training Plane Crash in Milestone School

The Muslim Ummah of North America (MUNA) has expressed deep sorrow and concern over the tragic plane crash involving a Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft that struck Milestone School and College in Uttara, Dhaka, causing fatalities and injuries.

In a joint statement on Tuesday, MUNA National President Imam Dalouer Hossain and National Executive Director Arman Chowdhury, CPA said, “We are deeply saddened by the heartbreaking incident in which a training aircraft crashed into a school building, claiming the lives of the pilot, teachers, and innocent students. Words fail to express our grief at the loss of such pure souls.”

They added, “We pray to the Almighty for the status of martyrdom and forgiveness for the departed souls. We also express our deepest condolences to the grieving families and urge the authorities to ensure the highest quality medical treatment for the injured.”

The MUNA leadership has called upon all its members and volunteers to organize prayer gatherings and hold special supplications in mosques across the country for the recovery of the injured.
