NEWS DESKThe Paterson Chapter of the Muslim Ummah of North America - MUNA, in collaboration with the Masjid-e-Adam and Atlantic Cultural Group, organized an Islamic Cultural and Family Night at the John F. Kennedy (JFK) School Auditorium, under the auspices of the MUNA New Jersey North Chapter.
The cultural event began at 6:30 PM, with notable figures in attendance, including the distinguished nasheed artist Saifullah Mansur as the chief guest, and renowned Islamic music artist Dr. Ataul Haque Usmani as the special guest.
The program was inaugurated with Quran recitation by members of the MUNA Youth Group. Following that, Abdul Mannan, President of the MUNA New Jersey North Chapter, delivered the wlcome address. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of MUNA’s initiatives, the preservation of cultural heritage, and the need to promote family values.
After the opening remarks, the chief guest, Saifullah Mansur, and special guest, Dr. Ataul Haque Usmani, along with the Atlantic Cultural Group, presented a heartfelt hamd performance, captivating the audience.
Following this, the MUNA Children’s Group took the stage, showcasing young talents who performed English Islamic songs. Then, the artists from the Atlantic Cultural Group performed various nasheeds individually.
The event also featured a series of performances, including Islamic stories, dramas, poetry recitations, and group performances, presented by members of both the Atlantic Cultural Group and the MUNA Youth Group. Through these performances, each participant aimed to convey important Islamic messages to the audience.
