Gazi Anisur Rahman, National Assistant Executive Director of MUNA, suffered a heart-related medical emergency on January 20 while traveling from Bangladesh to Los Angeles, United States. During the flight, he experienced sudden chest pain, forcing the aircraft to make an emergency landing in Canada.
Following the landing, Rahman was rushed to a local hospital, where doctors conducted initial examinations and later performed open-heart surgery, according to family sources.
He is currently under close medical observation. During this critical time, Rahman’s family and MUNA have requested prayers from well-wishers at home and abroad, expressing hope that Almighty Allah will grant him a swift and full recovery.
