MUNA East Zone Holds Leadership Educational Session 2026 in New Jersey

The Muslim Ummah of North America - MUNA successfully organized its Leadership Educational Session 2026 for the East Zone on Saturday, February 7, at the MUNA Center of South Jersey (MCSJ) in Pine Hill, New Jersey.

The day-long program brought together leaders and members from New Jersey South, North & Central, Atlantic City, PAS, PAN, Delaware, and Connecticut chapters.

The session began at 9:30 AM with breakfast and registration, followed by opening remarks delivered by Humayun Kabir, Secretary of MUNA East Zone.

A Darsul Qur’an session on Surah Al-Hujurat (Chapter 49, Verses 11–18) was conducted by Dr. Ruhul Amin, National Assistant Executive Director of MUNA, highlighting key ethical and social principles from the Qur’an.

Later, a discussion and Q&A session was led by Imam Dalouer Hossain, National President of MUNA, focusing on leadership responsibilities and contemporary challenges facing the Muslim community.

After a coffee break, a leadership and organizational development session was conducted by Mahmudul Kadir Tafader and Humayun Kabir of the MUNA East Zone.

Participants then observed Salatul Dhuhr, followed by a lunch break.

In the afternoon, Abdullah Al Arif, National Assistant Executive Director and Director of Education of MUNA, delivered an important session on organizational discipline, strategic planning, and leadership responsibilities.

Following Salatul Asr and a coffee break, the program featured an Ehtesab (self-evaluation) session led by Mahmudul Kadir Tafader, President of MUNA East Zone.

The program concluded with closing remarks and dua by Imam Dalouer Hossain, marking the end of a productive and spiritually enriching leadership gathering at 4:15 PM.
