NEWS DESKThe Muslim Ummah of North America MUNA Brooklyn West and South Chapter organized a unique Iftar Mahfil with the members of different religions community. Mahfil was held at the Brooklyn Islamic Center (traditionally first-ever MUNA Center) on Thursday afternoon, March 13.
The program began with the recitation from the Holy Quran by Sajjad Ammar. Under the modaration of Community Leader Kazi Farid Uddin, prominent Islamic thinker and MUNA National Education Assistant Director Abu Samiah Sirajul Islam was presented as the Guest Lecturer. Hassan Akbar Zakaria and New Muslim Amena Khatun also spoke.
The Iftar Mahfil felt like open environment and public entertainment , MUNA National Social Service Director Maulana Safayat Hossain Safa, National Justice and Human Dignity Assistant Director M Mahbubur Rahman, MUNA South Zone Secretary AKM Saiful Alam, Zone Baitul Mal Director Hasan Sorardi Dulal and Brooklyn West and South Chapter leaders was attended as Guest.
The speakers highlighted the universal human values and beauty of Islam in their discussions. Finally, the program ended with the serving of Iftar and dinner.
