Said by the Speakers of a Discussion Meeting held on the occasion of the historic Badr Day organized by the Muslim Ummah of North America MUNA Brooklyn South and West, at the Brooklyn Islamic Center on Monday, March 17.

The Chief Guest at the Discussion and Iftar Party was MUNA National Assistant Executive Director Professor Dr. Ruhul Amin.

In his speech, the Chief Guest said that on the eve of the historic Battle of Badr, only 313 faithful companions of the Prophet Muhammad (PBH) showed unconditional loyalty to the call of the Prophet. Their display of that loyalty was so pleasing to Allah Almighty that He granted Islam's victory over the infidel army, which was thrice larger and equipped with the havy weapons.

As a Special Guest, MUNA New York South Zone President Maulana Emdad Ullah highlighted the history of the Battle of Badr and said, "Allah Almighty has given courage to his Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) by revealing many Surahs about this battle. If we also show loyalty to the Quran and Sunnah in this way, then all unrest will be removed from the world."

The Iftar Mahfil was presided over by MUNA West Zone President Mujibur Rahman Ripon and the program was conducted by South Zone Secretary Reza Ahmed. MUNA West Zone Secretary Helal Uddin and South Zone Secretary, BIC Vice President AKM Saiful Alam also spoke.

More than 500 people participated in this discussion meeting and Iftar Mahfil organized on the occasion of Badr Day.
