An education session was held in Brooklyn under the initiative of the Brooklyn East Chapter of Muslim Ummah of North America - MUNA on Tuesday, April 14. Members and associate members of the chapter participated in the program.
Ahmad Abu Ubayda, National Assistant Executive Director of MUNA, attended the event as the chief guest. Maulana Emdad Ullah, President of MUNA New York South Zone, was present as the special guest, along with other members of the Brooklyn East Chapter.

The program began with an introductory session moderated by Maulana Mostofa Kamal. This was followed by a recitation from the Holy Qur’an by chapter member Fakhrul Islam Faisal and a nasheed performance by Salauddin Russell.
In his opening remarks, Chapter President Maulana Motasim Billah Siraji highlighted the importance of knowledge-building and unity in organizational activities.
Special guest Maulana Emdad Ullah delivered a dars based on verses 14–17 of Surah Aal-e-Imran, providing valuable guidance to the participants.
After the Maghrib prayer, the second session was conducted by Chapter Secretary Maulana Nayeb Ali. In his address, chief guest Ahmad Abu Ubayda emphasized that achieving organizational excellence requires sincere adherence to the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companions. He also stressed the importance of noble character, trustworthiness, humility, truthfulness, and in-depth knowledge of the Qur’an and Hadith.

Members of the Brooklyn East Chapter executive team played key roles in ensuring the smooth execution of the program, managing discipline, digital banners, registration, and food arrangements. Among them were Mainuddin Shipon, Maulana Mainuddin Sujon, Mohammad Farhad, Dr. Jahangir Kabir, Noor Mohammad, Karim Molla, Fahim Hossain, among others.
