A large protest was held in Washington on Saturday, organized by the US Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO), calling for an end to the ongoing genocide in Palestine. The "National March on Washington" saw thousands of participants who voiced their opposition to Israel’s actions, stating, "Israel is flagrantly violating the ceasefire and continuing its genocide without regard for the world."
Protesters accused Washington of directly supporting these attacks, with innocent people, including women and children, being killed without mercy. They emphasized that such actions cannot be accepted and must be stopped, urging the global community to act in defense of humanity.
The demonstrators also called for the provision of essential food and water supplies to Palestine. Chanting "Free Free Free Palestine!" and "Stop Genocide!", they demanded the implementation of a ceasefire. The protestors appealed to former President Donald Trump, urging his administration to take action in ensuring the ceasefire is enforced.
The rally saw participation from many people, including expatriate Bangladeshis and Americans from various states, all united in their demand for justice and peace in Palestine.
