The Muslim Ummah of North America MUNA New York South Zone successfully organized a day-long Education Camp on Sunday, May 25. The Closing Ceremony of the Education Camp was chaired by Zone President Mawlana Emdad Ullah, and the Chief Guest was MUNA National Assistant Executive Director Mawlana Dr. Mohammed Ruhul Amin.

The event was attended by a number of notable MUNA leaders including Zone Secretary A.K.M. Saiful Alam, MUNA National Assistant Director of Social Services Mosharaf Mawla Shujon, Media Coordinator Aminur Rasul Jamshed, Director of Human Resources Belal Uddin, City Line Chapter President Ruhul Ambia Shumon, Brooklyn East President Mutasim Billah Siraji, and Ozone Park President Abdul Jabbar, among others.

Chief Guest Mawlana Dr. Mohammed Ruhul Amin in his keynote speech emphasized the importance of being grateful for the divine responsibility of serving Islam. “It is a great blessing from Allah that He has chosen us to serve His Deen,” he said. “The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) endured immense hardship to spread this message, and it is unfortunate that today many of us are neglectful of this sacred duty.”

He also highlighted the sacrifices of the Prophet’s Companions, particularly citing the exemplary devotion of Hazrat Anas bin Nadr (RA), and encouraged attendees to remain steadfast in their commitment to serving their faith, especially in a land where Islam continues to grow.

He also said, He may have some plan for us in America, which we do not know. Therefore, we must continue to make efforts so that we can remain steadfast on the path of servitude to the Almighty.
