Chief Advisor Professor Yunus Invites Trump to Visit Bangladesh

On Tuesday, Bangladesh’s Chief Advisor, Professor Muhammad Yunus, attended a reception hosted by U.S. President Donald Trump. During the event, Professor Yunus extended an invitation to President Trump to visit Bangladesh at his earliest convenience.

Professor Yunus, who is currently in New York for the United Nations General Assembly, participated in the reception at the invitation of President Trump.

At the event, Professor Yunus exchanged pleasantries with President Trump and engaged in discussions with several world leaders. Among the dignitaries present were King Felipe VI of Spain, Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba, United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres, and Bhutanese Prime Minister Lotay Tshering.

Additionally, Professor Yunus had the opportunity to meet with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the U.S. Special Representative for South and Central Asia, Sergio D. Correa.
