Devout Muslims are observing the day through recitation of the Holy Quran, offering special prayers, performing nafl prayers, keeping voluntary fasts, and engaging in charity. Marking the occasion as a public holiday in Bangladesh, national flags have been hoisted at all government, semi-government, and autonomous establishments. Key intersections and lampposts across the capital have been decorated with banners bearing the sacred 'Kalima Tayyiba'.

Distinguished leaders, including President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, have issued special messages on this auspicious occasion. In his message, the President urged everyone to embrace the noble ideals of the Prophet (PBUH) to eradicate hatred and injustice, building a peaceful and equitable society. The Prime Minister noted in his message that the advent of the Holy Prophet opened a new horizon of truth and human values. BNP Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi also issued a separate congratulatory message.

To mark the day properly, the Islamic Foundation has organized a fortnight-long program, featuring Quran recitations, Hamd-Naat sessions, seminars, and a month-long Islamic book fair at the eastern courtyard of the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque. The inaugural ceremony was graced by the President as the chief guest, alongside speeches from prominent Islamic scholars and various cultural competitions for students, fostering a deeply spiritual atmosphere nationwide.
