Tensions between Tehran and Kyiv have reached a new high after Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi launched a scathing verbal attack on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. In a formal statement, Araghchi labeled Zelenskyy a "delusional clown," accusing him of hypocrisy and blatant violations of international law.

The War of Words The friction intensified following Zelenskyy’s recent vocal support for anti-government protests in Iran. The Ukrainian leader had released a video message calling for "regime change" in Tehran—a move Araghchi described as an attempt to incite internal unrest.
