NEWS DESKThe Muslim Ummah of North America MUNA successfully hosted its National Leadership Camp 2025 from May 15 to 18 at the Ramada Hotel in the state of Delaware. MUNA National President Imam Delouer Hossain was present as the Chief Guest at the event.
The camp officially commenced on the evening of May 15 with participant registration, followed by an inaugural address from MUNA National President Imam Delouer Hossain. The opening night featured a keynote Panel Discussion led by Ustadh Khalil-ur-Rahman Chishti and concluded with the congregational ‘Isha prayer.
On May 16, day two opened with the Dars al-Qur’an by Ustadh Ustadh Khalil-ur-Rahman Chishti . MUNA former National President and Vice President Dr. Syedur Rahman Chowdhury led a key session on Practicing Islam in North America. Following the Jumu’ah Prayer, Ustadh Chishti delivered a special talk on the topic of 'Tajdeed-ud-Deen'. Another notable session focused on the topic of 'Importance of Islamic Movement in Family Life' presented by MUNA former National President and Vice President Harun or Rashid and moderated by National Assistant Executive Director and Education Director Hafiz Abdullah Al Arif.
On May 17, the third day of the program again began with a Dars al-Qur’an presented by Ustadh Khalil-ur Rahman Chishti. Then, a critical discussion was held on “Challenges and Opportunities for Da’wah Work in the West,” led by Sheikh Ahmad Abu Ubayda and Dr. Muhammad Ruhul Amin. After a mid-day break for lunch and Dhuhr Prayer, Dr. Amin conducted a session on the technique and methodology of Qur’an recitation. The evening concluded with a lecture on Tazkiyatun Nafs (Purification of the Soul) by Sheikh Abu Samiha Sirajul Islam, moderated by MUNA National Vice President Imam Abul Basher Faizullah.
On May 18, the Final Day featured a major panel discussion on “The Role of Sacrifice and Dedication in Developing Islamic Leadership,” with contributions from MUNA former National President and Vice President Abu Ahmed Nuruzzaman and Dr. Syedur Rahman Chowdhury, along with National Executive Director Arman Chowdhury.
Finally, the four-days long Leadership Camp concluded with a heartfelt closing speech and supplication (du’a) led by MUNA National President Imam Dalouer Hossain. Delegates participated in Qiyamul Lail (late-night prayers) every night in the camp, fostering spiritual growth throughout the camp.
MUNA’s National Leadership Camp 2025 was attended by national and zonal leaders, scholars, and dedicated volunteers, reaffirming the organization’s commitment to nurturing principled and spiritually grounded Muslim leaders for the North American context.
