A tragic mass shooting in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Wednesday resulted in the deaths of two individuals and left several others injured, including three police officers. Local law enforcement confirmed the grim details during a press briefing.
According to police spokesperson Garrett Parten, one victim died at the scene, while a second succumbed to injuries after being rushed to the hospital. Four injured individuals were admitted for medical care, among them three police officers—two of whom sustained gunshot wounds. Hospital authorities confirmed that the injured officers are in stable condition and expected to recover. The suspected gunman was also found dead at the scene, though the exact cause of death remains under investigation.
