The United States has lost an estimated $2 billion worth of military assets over the past four days following the launch of military operations against Iran, according to an analysis by Turkey’s state-run Anadolu Agency.

The most significant reported loss was the AN/FPS-132 early warning radar system stationed at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar. Valued at approximately $1.1 billion, the radar was reportedly damaged in an Iranian missile strike on Saturday, a claim confirmed by Qatari authorities.

On Sunday, three F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jets were reportedly destroyed by friendly fire from Kuwait’s air defense system. Although all six crew members survived, the aircraft were lost. Replacing the jets is expected to cost around $282 million.

In the first wave of attacks on Saturday, Iran also targeted the headquarters of the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet in Manama, Bahrain. The strike reportedly destroyed two satellite communication terminals and several large buildings. Open-source intelligence identified the terminals as AN/GSC-52B systems, with an estimated combined value of $20 million, including installation and deployment costs.

Iran further claimed it destroyed an AN/TPY-2 radar associated with the THAAD anti-ballistic missile system deployed in the Al-Ruwais industrial area of the United Arab Emirates. Satellite imagery from open sources reportedly indicates signs of impact at the site. The radar system is believed to cost around $500 million.

In total, Iran is said to have damaged approximately $1.902 billion worth of U.S. military assets across the Gulf region.

Since the United States and Israel began strikes on Iran on Saturday, Tehran has reportedly targeted at least seven U.S. military facilities in the Middle East. These include the U.S. Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain; Camp Arifjan, Ali Al Salem Air Base, and Camp Buehring in Kuwait; the Erbil base in Iraq; Jebel Ali Port in the United Arab Emirates — considered the largest U.S. naval facility in the region — and Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.

Images taken Sunday afternoon in Kuwait reportedly showed roof sections collapsed at Ali Al Salem Air Base following Iranian attacks the previous day. Six U.S. service members were reportedly killed at Camp Arifjan. A video recorded inside Camp Buehring on Sunday appeared to show a drone flying over the base before exploding inside the compound.

The reported figures and damage assessments are based on open-source intelligence and media analysis, and independent verification remains limited amid ongoing hostilities.
