U.S. President Donald Trump has said he sent a letter to Chinese President Xi Jinping, and also received a reply, according to an interview he gave to Fox Business.

However, Trump did not specify when the exchange of letters took place. He stated, “I wrote him a letter. He also sent me a reply.”

Explaining the content of the correspondence, Trump said he urged the Chinese president not to supply weapons to Iran. In response, Xi reportedly said that China was not doing so.

“I heard that China is supplying weapons to Iran. You see this happening everywhere,” Trump claimed.

Meanwhile, amid ongoing tensions between the United States, Israel, and Iran, new details have emerged regarding Iranian military capabilities in the Middle East.

According to a report published by the Financial Times on Wednesday, Iran has secretly acquired a Chinese intelligence satellite, reportedly enhancing its ability to target U.S. military bases across the region.

Citing leaked Iranian military documents, the report says the satellite, identified as TEE-01B, was built and launched by a Chinese company named Earth Eye.

The satellite was reportedly transferred to the control of the aerospace division of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in late 2024 after its deployment into space by China.

The report further states that Iranian military commanders instructed the satellite to monitor key U.S. military installations. It also claims the satellite was used to capture imagery before and after drone and missile attacks on those sites in March.
