Tarique Rahman Signs Nomination Papers for Dhaka-17 and Bogura-6 Seats

BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has signed nomination papers as the party’s candidate with the Sheaf of Paddy symbol for the Dhaka-17 and Bogura-6 constituencies in the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election.

On Sunday evening, Tarique Rahman signed the nomination papers at the BNP Chairperson’s Gulshan office in the presence of the party coordinators of the two constituencies.

Earlier in the day, BNP Chairperson’s Personal Secretary A. B. M. Abdus Sattar collected the nomination papers on behalf of Tarique Rahman for the Dhaka-17 constituency from the office of Dhaka Divisional Commissioner Sharfuddin Ahmed Chowdhury.

Meanwhile, at around 12:30 pm Bangladesh time, party leaders and activists collected the nomination form for the Bogura-6 constituency on behalf of Tarique Rahman from District Commissioner and Returning Officer Toufiqur Rahman.

The developments mark a significant step for the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) as preparations continue for the upcoming parliamentary polls.
