The swearing-in ceremony of the Members of Parliament (MPs) elected in the 13th National Parliamentary Election will be held on Tuesday. On the day, the newly elected MPs will take two separate oaths — one as Members of Parliament and another as members of the Constitution Reform Council.
The information was disclosed in a press release signed by Md. Emdadul Haque, Director (Deputy Secretary) of Public Relations Wing-1 of the Jatiya Sangsad Secretariat, on Monday.
According to the release, the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected MPs of the 13th National Parliament and their oath as members of the Constitution Reform Council will be held sequentially at 10:00 am local time on Tuesday at the oath room of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban.
Invitation letters for the ceremony are being issued.
The release further stated that if any elected MP does not receive the invitation letter for any reason, it can be collected on the day of the ceremony from the front desk located at the main entrance inside the tunnel of the Parliament building.
Newly elected MPs have been requested to carry their National Identity Card (NID) with them.
