Prime Minister’s Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Rumon confirmed the matter, saying the meeting was held at 11:00am at the Cabinet Division of the Secretariat.
During the courtesy meeting, the two sides discussed various issues of mutual interest concerning the brotherly nations, including matters related to the upcoming holy Hajj.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman arrived at the Secretariat at 9:05am Bangladesh time to begin official duties. He was received by Cabinet Secretary A B M Abdus Sattar.
